Across Gladiator Consulting’s work with over 100 nonprofit organizations, one thing has become clear:

Our community already has everything it needs to build a just and equitable reality.

What is required of us now is the audacity to own it and the willingness to use our abundant resources in a different way. The work ahead is hard and cannot be done alone. Transformation in fundraising takes ecosystem-level coordination and cooperation to audaciously imagine our collective new reality.

What is Community Centric Fundraising?

Community Centric Fundraising (CCF) is a fundraising movement that is grounded in equity and social justice. CCF practitioners prioritize the entire community over individual organizations, foster a sense of belonging and interdependence, present our work not as individual transactions but holistically, and encourage mutual support between nonprofits.

The Gladiator CCF Peer Learning Cohort holds space for learning, unlearning, and reimagining what’s possible.

Participants will:

  •   Explore paths to changemaking in a facilitated and confidential environment;

  •   Confront fears of and roadblocks to systems-change thinking and implementation;

  •   Take action on current priorities;

  •   Develop keen peer-to-peer learning skills based on active listening and co-created solutions;

  •   Cultivate intimate, cooperative relationships founded on trust and accountability; and

  •   Act as thought partners & advocates to industry peers.

Participants should be ready to:

  • Be brave, be vulnerable, be uncomfortable, be a champion, be a failure, find support in each other, and do the work.

Program details & commitments:

  • Geared toward development professionals at small to mid-sized organizations who are curious about and committed to dismantling inequity in the nonprofit sector.

  • Cohort will be 8-12 participants each.
